____ Timeliness: You need to be on time for class. Please log into all required Google Meets on time as well. Please make sure to respect everyone’s time.
____ Google Classroom will be utilized frequently this year. It will be used as a medium for me to share lessons and assignments with you and for you to view lessons and complete and turn in assignments. You are responsible for checking Google Classroom each day for assignments and due dates. Please contact me right away if you are having problems with your technology, so I can help you.
____ Grading: You will be graded on your daily assignments, tests, quizzes, projects, and presentations. Your behavior and participation will also be graded. Late assignments will lose points.
Grading Scale: 97-100% A+ 77-79% = C+ 0-59% - = F
93-96% = A 73-76% = C

80-82% = B- 60-62% = D-
____ Late work: Late work will receive an automatic 40 percent off the total points. Also, late work will get graded only when I have time and not before. All tests and quizzes need to be made up one week before midquarter and one week before the end of the quarter. If not, those grades turn to a 0 in the gradebook.
____ Missing, Makeup, and Redo Assignments: Missing, Makeup, and Redo Assignments will not receive an automatic reduction of points, unless the assignment(s) falls under the Student Handbook policy that the work be made up within 2 days of the student's return and unless the assignment and checklist requirements are still not met. Missing, makeup, and redo assignments; however, will get graded only when I have time and not before.
____ Absences: You are responsible for coming to me to get the assignments you missed. You will have 3 days to make up your work for every day you were absent. Please write "absent" at the top of your paper before turning in make up work, so I don't mistake it as a late assignment. It is your responsibility to bring your blue slip to me so I can sign it. If you are sick and are learning from home, make sure a parent or guardian contacts the MMS office. Doing this will let me know that you were not able to attend class because of illness. You will be allowed the 2-day rule for missing assignments in this case.
____ Teacher Availability: If you have any questions or need extra help, I encourage you to set up a day and time to meet with me before or after school.
____ Food and beverages in class: Nothing other than water. Your water should be in a see-through water bottle with a screw-top cap.
____ Substitutes: I might be gone from school and need a substitute teacher. Please be extra respectful to anyone who substitutes for me.
____ Please help to keep this room clean Pick up after yourself. Throw garbage away. Be careful with your own property as well as the school’s property. The last five minutes of class we will stack chairs and you may socialize until the end of the hour. No lining up at the door, please.
