He is the Renaissance Coordinator and also teaches Leadership, AVID Elective, and Computers

Mr. Kim began his career at Schurr High School in 1995.  A long time adviser for Key Club and CSF.  Mr. Kim joined the GBL team in 2016 and teaches the Business Finance course.  He is also part of the history department where he teaches Government, Economics, and AP US History.

His BA is from UCLA in Political Science and his MBA is from National University.

Mr. Tuthill has been teaching at Schurr High School since 2011, and is currently teaching 21st Century Marketing and Geology.  Mr. Tuthill  joined the GBL pathway in 2023. He also serves as the science department chair and is a member of Schurr's PBIS and College Access team.  

Mr. Tuthill earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sport Management from The Ohio State University and has Masters Degrees from Pepperdine University in Education and from Concordia University Irvine in School Counseling 

Mr. Viramontes has been with the GBL team since 2016.  He currently serves as the pathway lead and 12th grade teacher for GBL.  Mr. Viramontes is also part of the science department at Schurr High School.  He has been at Schurr High School since 2015 and has been a teacher at Montebello Unified School District since 2009.  He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from San Diego State University and he received his teaching credential and Master's in Education from National University.
