Prerequisite: Introduction to Business

The second year course of the program focuses on instruction in finance. Students will primarily use spreadsheets to examine figures related to business and personal economic decisions. Through the use of articles regarding consumer and business behavior, students will construct tables and charts that compute and reflect business and consumer operations.

The course is project based. Therefore, assessments will be primarily portfolios that students will produce demonstrating their knowledge of the unit. Homework assignments and exams are formative assessments that are geared towards the completion of the unit portfolios.
