Can I register more than one production?
Yes. Multiple productions may be listed on the same registration form. The first production is $150, and each additional production is $125.
Each production will receive its own Production ID.
Can our school receive separate invoices?
Can our school receive separate invoices?
Yes. You may request one invoice for all productions, separate invoices for each production, or invoices grouped by school or program.
Do I need the production recording when I register?
Do I need the production recording when I register?
No. The initial registration form reserves your participation and allows us to create your invoice and Production ID.
The production recording and supporting materials are submitted later through the Overall Production Submission Form.
Why do I need a Production ID?

The Production ID connects your registration, production materials, acting nominations, specialty nominations, judge assignments, ratings, and feedback.
Use the Production ID on every form associated with that production.
Can a production include adult actors?
Can a production include adult actors?
Yes. Productions may include adult performers. However, only performers who were enrolled in the applicable school division at the time of the production are eligible for individual acting nominations.
What if a former student is in college when we submit the forms?

Eligibility is based on the performer’s status at the time of the production. A performer who was enrolled in high school when the production was presented may remain eligible even if they have graduated by the submission deadline.

Registration includes consideration of up to seven individual performers per production.
Submit one Individual Acting Nomination Form for each performer.

No. Submit a separate response for each performer. This allows each nomination to be tracked and adjudicated individually.

Submit one Specialty Category Nomination Form for each specialty nomination. You may return to the form and submit additional responses.

You do not need to submit it. Inapplicable specialty categories do not count against the production.
A specialty category may be offered only when at least three eligible entries are received.
How are high-school competition divisions determined?
How are high-school competition divisions determined?
The adjudication team assigns productions to the Foundational, Established, or Comprehensive division based on resources and program context.
Division placement is not based on production quality, student talent, or educational value.
How are summer camps and mixed-age organizations classified?

Theatre Night Awards staff will contact summer camps, district-wide programs, youth theatre organizations, and mixed-age groups to determine the most appropriate competition division.

Identify both casts during registration. If both casts are being considered independently, submit separate nomination information for each cast.

It is the submitting organization’s responsibility to verify that all links, permissions, timestamps, and passwords are correct. Contact Theatre Night Awards staff immediately if a link must be replaced.
