This session aims to provide an introductory overview of HRI experimental research to new researchers. 

The discussion will cover common methodologies and key considerations during study design, experimentation, data analysis, and post-study reporting with examples from the literature. 

Participants will be invited to follow along and design their own HRI study using an open-sourced tool, which illustrates the key steps in the life cycle of a typical HRI experimental study: Life Cycle Design Tool
