I have moderate experience in multi-modal HRI studies. Is this tutorial suitable for me ?

This tutorial serves diverse experience levels. The initial study design components including sensors and feature extraction suit those new to multimodal HRI research, while the data fusion and analysis section targets participants with prior analytics experience. The panel discussion on ethics and bias in HRI is valuable for all experience levels. Through hands-on exercises and expert guidance, participants will enhance their ability to design and evaluate multimodal HRI studies.

What do I need to bring for the tutorial?

Your awesome self, laptop/charger, along with the lab setup and the downloaded datasets.

I cannot attend in-person. Will the tutorial be offered in a hybrid setting?

Unfortunately, the lectures and hands-on exercises will only be available in-person. However, you are welcome to join the panel discussion, which will be conducted as a hybrid event. 

I only want to participate in one of the sessions. What should I do?

You will need to register under the category Workshop. You are free to participate in the session of your interest
