As a Biomed student, there is NO REQUIREMENT to have a majors/minors sequence in your degree
Your biomedical science course is a SPECIALIST course, so your specialisation will be biomedical science.
Through this specialisation, you'll deep dive, from day one, into the biomedical science areas of study that include anatomy and developmental biology, biochemistry and molecular biology, microbiology, pharmacology and physiology.
With the eight (8) free electives, it is possible to build a major or minor sequence within your biomed degree.
Remember the rule - Majors have eight (8) units studied over three (3) years, minors have four (4) units studied over at least two (2) years
If you're interested in undertaking a major or minor, please visit the Majors, extended majors, minors and specialisations for more information.
If you do choose to have a major/minor in your degree, it CANNOT be in Biochemistry, Developmental Biology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Human Pathology or Immunology.
