As a new staff member within the first two weeks of employment at Monash, you are required to complete the online Mandatory Compliance Training. Upon completion, a timesheet will need to be submitted for the specified time allocation for renumeration.

Once your contract of employment has been finalised an Authcate account will be generated enabling you to access IT facilities (ie email/web). To activate the account, contact eSolutions on 9905 1777 (x51777 on campus) and quote your Staff ID number. They will then confirm your username and give you a temporary password.

All IT support services are actioned through the central eSolutions Service desk. Staff at the Service Desk will either resolve the issue with you or assign the request to IT support staff located on your campus. This includes queries regarding computer user accounts, email issues and computer hardware, training and application difficulties. You can log a request via email or telephone, or via the online service request portal.

Staff will need to attend a Monash Connect centre located at Caulfield, Clayton or Peninsula campuses to obtain a Staff M-Pass ID card or Digital M-Pass. You will not be allocated a staff ID card until your ID number has been issued. The card will allow you to gain access to University facilities, borrow books from the University library, as well as other services such as printing and on-campus payments. Please email your School's role account with your ID number to request swipe card access to specific areas of your School. All Staff ID cards are to be returned to the Human Resources Division when employment ceases.
