Jared Hawkins

FACS/Business

I am so glad that I got to work with Jared Hawkins before he graduated. With an A average, he is responsible, enthusiastic and motivated to do well. I have been impressed with his work, especially the projects, which he tackles with passion and diligence. He perseveres until he knows he has done his best...never content with mediocrity, he has excelled in FACS! These traits will stay with him as he pursues college and career!

Joshua Chucaragua

Mathematics

We would like to recommend Joshua Chucaragua for student of the month in Mathematics. He has shown exemplary perseverance in his Math class this year. As a new student to the district and being a completely remote learner, he has adjusted so well to the school and the demands of his coursework. He is always well prepared for class and shows attention to detail. He always logs into class on time and is ready to go. If he ever needs extra help he does not hesitate to ask.

Cael Sullivan

Music

Cael is an exceptional musician. He performs violin in orchestra and sings in the choir. Over the past year he has shown tremendous growth and is on the path to being an amazing musician. Cael has been extremely responsible this year. He never misses an assignment and always goes above and beyond. He also comes to class with a good attitude and a smile on his face. He is a joy to be around and a great role model for his peers.

Jaleel Shaffeeullah

Science

From day one of Living Environment Jaleel has demonstrated a high commitment to his academics. He consistently turns in high quality work whether he is in person or virtual - his location does not deter his efforts or engagement. If he is ever confused I will know because Jaleel will proactively reach out for help. Jaleel always has his hand up to participate in class (even if he does not know the answer) and actively engages in our class activities and labs. Perhaps what stands out to me most is Jaleel's growth in attitude and respect for my class over the past several months. Jaleel is reflective and shows willingness to grow as a student.

Not only did he take multiple Technology courses from Engineering to Trades, he has gone above and beyond to take many honors and AP courses. Nick’s level of knowledge and skills in the residential wiring course was exceptional. He would finish his project/skill work and then wouldn’t hesitate to assist and teach others in class. Nick is very hardworking and dedicated to his learning.
