1.       Parent/Student to contact Lenovo Service Centre

2.     Do a pre registration (for faster drop off service) via https://smartcares.com/lenovo

3.      Parent/Student to bring the device to the Lenovo Service Centre

Insurance Claim Process for Surface Go devices


For e.g. Screen damage

1.       Call Microsoft @800 1013659 to explain device’s condition and request for a quotation/ You can also reach out via Microsoft Online Assisted Support: https://support.microsoft.com/oas

2.       Microsoft will perform diagnostic test on device (via the telephone conversation) and inform user if device is still covered under warranty or not.

3.       If device is still covered under warranty, eg, can perform one to one exchange, user proceed to reply via email to Microsoft with the details required for the delivery of the new device. User will need to return the damaged device upon receiving the new one.

4.       If device is not covered under warranty, user is to make payment to Microsoft after receiving the quotation on the damaged device.

5.       Microsoft will send tax invoice to user once they received payment from user.

6.       User to send

a.       Requested Quotation (refer to point number 1)

b.       Tax invoice (refer to point number 5)

c.       Insurance claim form by ETIQA (Can be retrieve from the school website under Infolinks > National Digital Literacy Programme (NDLP) > Funding & Warranty) to laptop@ins-solutions.com.sg

7.       Wait for the new device to be send to user.

Please take note that Microsoft will do a 1 to 1 replacement for screen damage, in this case, you are claiming under Insurance
