Created a culture of safety in school for staff and students via different platforms such as assembly talks & skits, “Start the Day Right” (SDR) safety videos, cross-department audits by non-teaching staff, “Confidence on Wheels” programme for Sec 3 students by Land Transport Authority and yearly safety drills & emergency preparedness.

Form teachers embarked on innovative ways to enhance their class culture in consideration of each class’s unique traits. Some examples include championing the school values and preparing students for future challenges by creating social networks for them.

With implementation of “Full Subject Based Banding” (FSBB) and “Home-based Learning” (HBL), the team introduced “Coaching Conversation” for all teachers to provide them with a frame and common vocabulary to guide discussion of lesson design. Professional development sessions on “Differentiated Instruction” (DI), assessment literacy and E-pedagogy were also conducted to support teachers in their development.
