Mother Tongue Languages
While Language is about expression and representation of meaning, our Mother Tongue helps us to appreciate our cultures and traditions.
AIM:
To nurture an appreciation of the Mother Tongue language and culture, attain a higher level of proficiency and provide a platform for students to contribute to communities inside and outside school, and to engage in real world issues.
PROGRAMMES:
Students will choose a niche area which they wish to develop themselves in – oratorical skills or creative writing skills.
Students will attend structured courses and/or workshops based on niche area to develop skills, and also participate in external competitions to apply skills and to gain exposure and experience.
