Start-It-Right Programme: Growing as Active Learners and Adaptive Problem Solvers
The Start-It-Right Programme provides Secondary 2 students with opportunities to strengthen teamwork, develop resilience and grow as active learners and adaptive problem solvers. Through team-building and outdoor learning activities, students are challenged to collaborate with their peers, think through problems and adapt to unfamiliar situations.
Students will learn to communicate effectively, appreciate different perspectives, demonstrate empathy and make responsible decisions when working towards shared goals. Outdoor experiences also encourage them to step out of their comfort zones, build confidence and develop a sense of responsibility towards the environment.
Guided by the school’s values and The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership, students will explore how to lead by example, inspire a shared vision and enable others to contribute. These experiences help students become more confident, resilient and responsible Crestians who support one another and work collaboratively to overcome challenges.
