Brief description of CCA
The PRCS Volleyball Team is committed to the holistic development of its members through values-driven experiences that strengthen their physical, mental, social and character development. Through purposeful and rigorous training, the Team seeks to nurture resilient, disciplined and confident sportsmen who are prepared to embrace challenges both on and off the court.
Members are expected to continually develop and refine essential volleyball skills, including serving, passing, setting, spiking, blocking and digging. As volleyball is fundamentally a team sport, members also learn to communicate effectively, work collaboratively and support one another in pursuit of shared goals.
Beyond sporting skills and performance, the Team strives to cultivate a spirit of continuous improvement and excellence. We nurture our boys to become well-rounded individuals who demonstrate resilience, teamwork and self-belief, are willing to rise to challenges, and constantly seek to surpass their personal best.
The development of our members is supported through:
Participation in the National School Games (NSG) ‘B’ Division East Zone Volleyball Championship and ‘C’ Division Pool and League Rounds
Participation in friendly matches with other schools and external volleyball competitions, providing valuable exposure and match experience
Intensive volleyball training during the June and November school holidays to strengthen skills, fitness and teamwork
Continued support from our alumni, who return to spar with and mentor our players, providing valuable guidance and experience
If you are a male student with a passion for or interest in volleyball, we welcome you to join the PRCS Volleyball Team. While prior experience is an advantage, no previous experience is required—what matters most is your willingness to learn, commitment to the team and determination to improve.
Members are expected to attend training regularly, work hard, support their teammates and approach every challenge with a positive attitude. Through training and competition, you will have opportunities to develop your volleyball skills, build resilience and confidence, and forge strong friendships with your teammates.
Join the PRCS Volleyball Team and be part of an exciting and rewarding journey!
