About Crestwinds

Crestwinds, our school concert band, is a vibrant community where students discover the joy of music, build meaningful friendships and grow together through every musical journey.

Beyond learning to play an instrument, Crestwinds provides students with authentic opportunities to perform, lead and collaborate. Through regular training, rehearsals and performances, our members develop not only their musical skills and confidence, but also the discipline, resilience, responsibility and teamwork needed to excel both on and off the stage.

Every note played and every performance shared is a testament to the dedication and collective spirit of Crestwinds.

CCA Training & Highlights

As a member of Crestwinds, students will have opportunities to:

• 🎵 Develop musical excellence through instrumental technique, musicianship and ensemble playing

• 🎶 Perform and shine at school events, annual public concerts, band exchanges and other performance opportunities

• 🤝 Build strong bonds through teamwork, section activities and shared musical experiences

• 🌟 Take the lead by initiating activities, supporting peers and taking on leadership roles within the band

• 💪 Grow in confidence and resilience as they work towards common goals and overcome challenges together

No prior musical experience is required. Whether you are a budding musician or simply someone with a passion for music and a willingness to learn, there is a place for you in Crestwinds.

Our Expectations

Being part of Crestwinds is both a privilege and a commitment. Members are expected to attend all scheduled practices, rehearsals and performances punctually and responsibly. Additional rehearsals may be scheduled by the Band Instructors in preparation for important performances and events.
