O Level Rubrics
N Level Rubrics
Although the resources below are mostly meant for N-level, note that the only difference for O-levels would be:
1. A slightly harder reading package
2. The 3rd question for "Spoken Interaction" being a 2-sided question for O-Levels (i.e. what are the pros and cons) whereas for N-Levels it is one-sided (i.e. what are the benefits).
General tips to do well:
Reading Aloud: practice varying your tone by alternating high/low pitches, varying stress/emphasis and changing speed of reading.
Spoken Interaction: For each question, try to give a positive and negative response.
Always relate to a personal experience or something in the news where possible. Never say "I dunno/never experienced" but use "I hope to one day.... I wish.... instead.
Note that for these samples to function properly, you need to download them as powerpoint slides and play it on your computer.
