The Japanese concept of continuous self-improvement by all employees at every level, working together for the good of the corporation. Kaizen involves being receptive to suggestions for improvement as well as to always look out for ways of doing so.
In response to my students' feedback that they were unsure of what/how to study for Literature, not only did I create "formulas" for them to use in their writing, but I also categorised question types and appropriate answer strategies for them to study. Typically, others would simply follow models and rely on feedback based on "feel".
Referring to excellence in every endeavour, I display this by seeking opportunities to benchmark my students, self and organisation with others wherever possible. I welcome collaboration to succeed in joint ventures while encouraging my students to take part in competitions so that they derive a sense of worth not just from how well they do in school but also how they fare at a national or international.
One collaboration I am glad for is with the 2018 Little Things Symposium where my colleague and I were able to share and validate our teaching techniques and curriculum with other schools.
Some competitions I regularly send my students to are the Royal Commonwealth Society's essays and National School Literature Festival Debate.
I am currently looking out for collaborators for teaching videos and interschool debates or learning camps.
I seek individuals or organisations with an interest in AI/Tech, such as chatbots, smart databases and UX design.
Am also looking for an opportunity to deepen my knowledge of HR and Consulting.
