Students play a 4v4 modified game of touch rugby, governed by actual rules of the game.
Students will learn to execute a normal pass with basic attacking and defending formation. Students will also learn to create space using miss pass, long pass, switch and/or dummy passes. Students will also be introduced to tag rugby.
During game play, students execute skills of passing and moving with the ball, and also in combinations of skills, with good form to influence intended outcomes. They also apply good footwork to change speed and direction when enacting offence and defence. The key to advancing towards the goal is to keep moving forward together and creating options for the ball to be moved into open space. The support player needs to position oneself and receive the ball to create that opportunity to progress towards the goal. In defence, the team needs to work together to deny that attacking space to hinder opponent's progress, deny them from scoring and regaining possession of the ball.
Fitness and agility will be part of the module too.
Playing area – 1/8 of a soccer field with no end zones
Holding the Ball
Running with the Ball
Running to Drive
Touch - 3 Man Drive
Running to Evade
Stepping is a skill that, if mastered, can help you bean the defenders and break through the defensive line. However, it is important to note that it should only be done sparingly as Driving forward towards the scoreline should be one’s primary objective before attempting to side step to evade.

Scoring
Scoring looks the same in both Touch and Tag with the exception that diving in Tag is not allowed (IN OUR GAME MODULE, DIVING IS NOT ALLOWED AS WELL)
The attacking team earns a "try" (aka a point) when he/she touches down the ball on or beyond the try line in the in-goal area.

In order to play the game, the easiest pass to learn is the End-Over-End pass. Though the more popular Spin Pass may seem more ‘game specific’ or fancy, it is not actually used often unless passing over long distances.

Players should not fend off opponents when running with the ball.
Players with the ball should run with two hands on the ball and are not allowed to hit or swipe away the hands of defending players.
Moving the Ball
