Motivating students to learn Chinese Language has always been one of the teaching objectives of Chinese Language teachers. We strive to engage students in learning activities that allows them to realize the relevance of Chinese Language in their daily lives.
Other than creating a deliberate and purposeful environment which is one that simultaneously encourages students to be engaged in learning while exploring avenues that were of interest to them, we also explore activities and assignments that offer students appropriate cognitive challenges and promote deep mental engagement. Students not only learn to become independent learners, they also developed social skills such as communicating, cooperating and collaborating skills.
