P3 Cultural Performance Experience

An initiative by the Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning (CPCLL), the Cultural Performance Exposure Scheme (CPES) (“文化随意门”计划) aims to expose students to Chinese language-related cultural performances by local and foreign performing arts groups. With more such platforms for appreciation of the Chinese culture, we hope to motivate students’ interest in Chinese culture and the learning of the Chinese language.

Every year, our Primary 3 students are given the chance to experience watching a Chinese Cultural Theatre Show. This year, our Primary 3 students had the opportunity to watch a Chinese Theatre Drama titled 《孙悟空三打白骨精》.

小二菜园学习之旅

In line with our Mother Tongue Language (MTL) Department’s efforts to develop our students to have a passion to learn Mother Tongue, MTL Department organized a learning journey to a vegetable farm for all Primary 2 students taking Mother Tongue Language. This learning journey aims to engage students on an authentic experience to learn interesting facts about plants and their uses in their Mother Tongue Language. There is also a hands-on activity to demonstrate the essentials of potting plants. After the demonstration, students potted their own plant and brought it home.
