Our Primary 3 students went on a learning journey in Term 2 with their Mother Tongue teachers and Science teachers. They were engaged in activities such as guessing riddles, solving words puzzle and making use of their orienteering skills learnt in textbook to read the Singapore Zoo map. Moving from stations to stations, students had so much fun learning more about the animals and learning the usefulness of Mother Tongue language.

To help students understand their emotions and express their thoughts, Primary 1 to Primary 4 students embarked on a Positive Education Journey whereby they were explicitly taught different emotional vocabularies appropriate to their age. They created their very own Emotion Wheel together with their Chinese Language teachers. With explicit teaching of emotional vocabularies and purposeful use of their Emotion Wheel during their lessons, students were more able to identify and process their own emotions. Teachers also observed that students were able to articulate the reasons behind their emotions and build positive relationships with self and others.
