Welcome to your new Managed iPad! This setup is the first step toward a unified experience where you can manage teaching resources and administrative tasks all from one powerful, portable device.
The entire onboarding process will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Once finished, your iPad will automatically transform into a workstation pre-loaded with your essential adminstrative tools.
Hello & Language.
After unboxing and attaching your accessories, press and hold the Power Button to turn on the device. Follow the "Hello" prompts to select your language, country, and preferred display settings.
Connect to the Internet.
Select a Wi-Fi network you know and trust. In school, connect to SWN@SSOE with your MIMS credentials. At home, connect to your home WiFi. Your iPad needs this connection to activate and verify its status with the MOE network. This activation may take a few minutes—stay close to your router for the best signal!
Remote Management.
You will see a message stating that this iPad is Managed. Don't worry—this is exactly what we want! Tap through the on-screen instructions to begin the official enrollment process.
Identify.
When prompted, sign in with your MOE MIMS credentials. This links the device to your professional profile.
You're doing great! You are officially over the halfway mark. You've secured the device; now we just need to finalize your access.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
To keep your data safe, enter your MFA key only when prompted.
Note: If you haven't registered for MFA yet, please pause here and refer to Annex A to get set up before continuing.
Home Screen & Automated Loading.
Welcome to your Home Screen! Your iPad is now ready for use. Be patient for a moment: The Cloud PC and Secure Browser apps will be automatically "pushed" (installed) to your device shortly. You don't need to do a thing! Meanwhile, you can click on Comp Portal and login with your MIMS again to keep the iPad connected to our management service.
Note: Mobile eSIM will also be "pushed" down within two business days.
