This Closed Beta introduces Cloud PC and Secure Browser—solutions designed to simplify access to the SSOE environment and applications through teachers' iPads issued by participating schools. The programme provides early access to selected teaching staff from three participating schools to test these applications in a live production environment. Selected participants must agree to the Closed Beta's terms and conditions before accessing the pilot. Staff from the three participating schools who are not part of the Closed Beta may express interest in participation through the feedback form at www.go.gov.sg/continuousfeedback-cpcsbr.
The Closed Beta is expected to run for a minimum of one month for schools with iPads issued to teachers. Selected participants from respective schools will be notified via email with onboarding instructions.
The purpose of the Closed Beta is the technical and operational viability of the solutions. If feedback from participants is highly positive, an extensive rollout will be scheduled accordingly.
You will receive an email notifying you of the provided access to the following applications:
Cloud PC
Secure Browser
After logging in with your MOE MIMS credentials, you can begin testing the SSOE capabilities of these applications and explore how they complement your workflows. Any feedback, suggestions (not technical support) can be provided through www.go.gov.sg/continuousfeedback-cpcsbr anytime throughout the Closed Beta run.
Use your MOE MIMS account credentials to log in to the device and applications.
Please email SSOE helpdesk team at help@schools.gov.sg.
Please email SSOE helpdesk team at help@schools.gov.sg. Support for any other apps outside the two involved in the Closed Beta will not be in scope.
For this Closed Beta, only school-issued iPads will be supported so personal devices are not within the scope of this Closed Beta and should not be used. Cloud PC and Secure Browser will support BYOD in the near future.
Closed Beta may be expanded to more users in participating schools based on the feedback. They may indicate interest through the feedback form www.go.gov.sg/continuousfeedback-cpcsbr together with their expected usage scenarios.
A simple onboarding user guide will be provided as we aim to provide a simple and seamless onboarding experience. If you encounter issues onboarding, do let us know so we can improve on the process.
Further instructions will be provided in the Closed Beta cessation email.
Cloud PC: Data on the desktop will be purged after every session. However, if your work is saved in OneDrive, no data will be lost.
Secure Browser: All work is processed through web applications, so no data will be lost even when the Closed Beta ends.

Extended Closed Beta is the continuation from the earlier Closed Beta phase whereby more users from selected schools that are already equipped with iPads are granted access to the applications to perform scaled up system integration and functional tests. In this phase, a bigger group of users from more schools will be introduced to Cloud PC and Secure Browser—solutions designed to simplify access to the SSOE environment and applications through T&L iPads issued by participating schools. The programme provides early access to selected teaching staff from various participating schools to test these applications in a live production environment. Selected participants must agree to the Pilot's terms and conditions before progressing.
The Extended Closed Beta is expected to run for a minimum of two months for more schools with iPads issued to teachers. Selected participants from respective schools will be notified via email with onboarding instructions.
The purpose of the Extended Closed Beta is the statistical significance of the usage trends and patterns. If feedback from participants continues to be positive, an extensive rollout will be scheduled accordingly.

The Pilot with Managed iPads Phase is the third phase of the pilot programme, in which a small group of users from each of the five selected schools will be issued with a MOE-managed iPad, keyboard case, and Apple Pencil, alongside Cloud PC and Secure Browser access. This phase aims to introduce an alternative single device that users can self-onboard and that is capable of performing both teaching and administrative functions in a live production environment. All participants will agree to the pilot's terms and conditions by proceeding with the pilot.
The Pilot with Managed iPads is expected to run for a minimum of two months. Participants
The purpose of the Pilot with Managed iPads is to test out the concept of a zero-touch, self-onboarding of a hybrid device that suits teaching and administrative purposes. On top of which, the benefits of Cloud PC and Secure Browser to teachers. If feedback from participants continues to be positive, an extensive rollout will be scheduled accordingly.
You will receive an onboarding email notifying you of the following:
