The Mass Appeal Exercise (MAE) is only for students who request transfer to another school due to:
Serious Medical Conditions with persistent or serious illness, e.g. chronic heart conditions, kidney problems. An official letter or medical report from a certified doctor must be attached to the application.
Severe Physical Impairments such as those requiring permanent use of a wheelchair. An assessment from qualified medical professional(s) of the student’s conditions and needs should be submitted. The assessment should clearly describe the extent of impairments (temporary/permanent) and the type of assistive device that the student is currently using (e.g. use of a wheelchair).
School transfer under the MAE is subject to availability of vacancies. Successful applicants will not be allowed to reject the reposted school and request to be admitted back to their original posted school.
Applicants must still report to their posted school on the first day of school, Friday, 2 January 2026 and should continue to attend their posted school until their transfer is approved.

Parents / Guardians may collect the MAE application form or request for the softcopy form from the posted school.
The application must be accompanied by relevant supporting documents to the posted school (in-person/via email to ong_guo_lin@btyss.moe.edu.sg).
Parents must file their appeals at the posted secondary school by 12pm, 22 December 2025. Each student is only allowed to submit one application.
