Full SBB is part of MOE’s ongoing efforts to nurture the joy of learning and develop multiple pathways to cater to the different strengths and interests of our students. If eligible, your child/ward would be offered to read subjects at a more demanding level.
Eligibility of students to offer subject(s) at a more demanding level
2. If offered, parents will be notified via Parents Gateway (PG) to indicate their preference for their child/ward to take specific subject(s) at a more demanding level. Please submit your option(s) by Wednesday, 24 December 2025.
a) Students who are in Posting Group 1 or Posting Group 2 are eligible to read English Language (EL), Mother Tongue Languages (MTL), Mathematics (MA) and Science (SCI) at a more demanding level if they have performed well in these subjects at the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE).
Upon accepting the offer, students may proceed to purchase books for the subject(s) at the more demanding level. It is not necessary to purchase books for the indicative subject level initially assigned. For example, if a student in Posting Group 2 chooses to read Mathematics at the more demanding G3 level, they need only purchase the G3-level books and do not need to buy the G2-level books.
