James Milner Fraser (JMF) Award

The James Milner Fraser Award for Excellence (JMF) aims to recognise BB Companies who have taken efforts to be future-ready and made an effective impact on their members, stakeholders and community.


BB Week award

As a non-profit organisation, the Boys' Brigade in Singapore organises BB Week, an annual fundraiser campaign. The BB Week Awards aim to recognise BB Companies who have performed well each year in their fundraising efforts.


Local Competitions

BB Blaze

BB Blaze 2024 is a national-level Competition where participants compete in teams in a variety of adventure disciplines in a physical race against time, aiming to promote teamwork, endurance, competitiveness and fair play.


Character quest (cq)

The BB Character Quest (CQ) is a national-level competition where Boys can learn about moral principles and values through a Bible quiz based on selected Scripture passages, and apply them in engaging team activities.


pipes & drums (pnd)

The BB Pipes and Drums Festival (PnD) is a national-level competition for Boys to show off their bagpiping and drumming proficiency in both Band and solo categories, in recognition of the Boys Brigade's Scottish bagpiping traditions.

Company Outreach

BB CARES

BB CARES (Community Activities Rallying Everyone to Serve) involves all BB Companies across Singapore to conduct community activities that achieves Boys' Brigade's mission of nurturing members to serve and lead. BB CARES is a platform to engage schools, parents and stakeholders to collaborate with organisations to do more for the community. Boys lead in organising the projects with the Officers facilitating the process of planning and reflection using the Values-in-Action model. 

BB Share-a-gift

The BB Share-a-Gift Project was started in 1988 as a community service project that promotes the spirit of caring and sharing amongst the local community during the Christmas season. The project is carried out annually; mobilising more than 3,500 BB Officers and members and hundreds of volunteers to collect grocery items and gifts for distribution to the needy. Donors are challenged beyond purely financial giving to make the extra effort to purchase and deliver these items.
