Company Outreach
BB CARES (Community Activities Rallying Everyone to Serve) involves all BB Companies across Singapore to conduct community activities that achieves Boys' Brigade's mission of nurturing members to serve and lead. BB CARES is a platform to engage schools, parents and stakeholders to collaborate with organisations to do more for the community. Boys lead in organising the projects with the Officers facilitating the process of planning and reflection using the Values-in-Action model.
The BB Share-a-Gift Project was started in 1988 as a community service project that promotes the spirit of caring and sharing amongst the local community during the Christmas season. The project is carried out annually; mobilising more than 3,500 BB Officers and members and hundreds of volunteers to collect grocery items and gifts for distribution to the needy. Donors are challenged beyond purely financial giving to make the extra effort to purchase and deliver these items.
