Effective Communication Programme (ECP)

The Effective Communication Programme (ECP) is a school-wide programme helmed by the English Language and Literature Department. The aim of the programme is to nurture BBSSians who are critical and confident speakers, with the ability to be self-aware and empathetic when engaged in a communication process.

Using the digital ECP Rubric as an Assessment for Learning (AfL) tool, students are engaged in a learning process that involved peer and self-evaluations and reflection that take place across the various themes and skills taught in the English Language and Literature curriculum. The skills set learnt and reflection points are applicable across other subject disciplines that the students may take with them.
