Find the verbs in the text and note down the tense used
Read the questions, there will be 2 main categories: grammatical & vocabulary
For grammatical questions, use the tense in the text to help you
For vocabulary questions, think of the meaning of each option
Select the best answer from the options

Find the keywords in the question: WHERE to look for the answer and WHAT you need to find (see sample below)
Remember that the WH-words in the question will give you hints of what to find.
Who : find nouns related to people (kata nama berkaitan dengan orang)
What : find nouns related to things (kata nama berkaitan dengan barang / isu)
Where : find nouns related to places (kata nama berkaitan dengan tempat)
When : find words / phrases related to time (perkataan berkaitan dengan masa)
Why : find words / phrases related to reasons (perkataan berkaitan dengan sebab)
How : find words / phrases related to ways (perkataan berkaitan dengan cara)
Read the text before you read the options
Take note and read the sentences before and after the gaps again. They help you fill in the answers.
Pay attention to the nouns or pronouns, and subject-verb agreement used in the sentences before the gap.
Choose the answer that is best from options
Read the text again with the answers, and check whether the passage makes sense and the idea or the story flows well.

Underline the keywords in the question, for example: "Choose no more than one word" = answer is only ONE word
