Perfect tense verbs are used to show a completed, or “perfected” action or condition.

Perfect Perfect Simple tense uses a form of the verb “to have” and the past participle of the verb.
Example:
Harith has just left the building.
I have eaten all the ice-cream.
Aini and Alia have walked to the library.
REMEMBER!
Past participle IS NOT the same as past tense.
Please see the list of irregular verbs in your English module (page 134, 135). There, you can see the infinitive, past simple and past participle form of irregular verbs.
The present perfect simple tense is used when we want to talk about (1) an action or condition that happened at an unspecified time in the past, (2) happened in the past and is still happening now, (3) if something just happened.
(1) Aksi yang berlaku pada seketika masa dahulu yang tidak dinyatakan, (2) aksi yang berterusan dari dahulu sehingga masa kini, atau untuk (3) aksi yang baru sahaja berlaku.
It consists of the helping verbs has or have and the past participle.
Example 1: I have visited this museum.
Example 2: Lily has just left the building.

The present perfect continuous tense is used for actions that
have started in the past and are still happening now, or have recently happened.

It consists of the helping verbs has or have, followed by been, and the present participle (verb + ing)
Example 1: I have been learning from home since the pandemic started.
Example 2: It has been raining a lot lately.
Example 3: How have you been doing?
The difference between the present perfect tense and the present perfect continuous tense is very small.
There are many times when the two tenses can be used and the meaning of the sentence is the same.
