REFLECTION DAY 2
Through this course, I have learned how to create a personal learning portfolio. This portfolio helps me share my learning journey and experiences. It will also be useful in the future when I design educational materials for my students. One thing I am happy about is learning how to edit and personalize YouTube videos. Now, I can turn a regular video into my own teaching tool. I plan to assess my students based on their level and give them more fun and engaging learning experiences.
Before this, I used to just show my students raw videos from YouTube. But throughout this course, I’ve discovered many tools and tricks that can make lessons more exciting. One of the most useful tools I learned about is Edpuzzle. It allows me to edit videos and add questions directly into the content. This is especially helpful for listening and comprehension activities. It also gives me feedback on how well students understand the topic, which makes it easier to plan future lessons.
Creating my own Edpuzzle video was a great hands-on experience. It helped me understand how the platform works and how it can support my teaching goals. Along with Edpuzzle, I also learned to use screencasting tools. These tools make it easier to explain lessons in a clear and simple way, and students can watch them at their own pace.
Today’s learning experience showed me how powerful technology can be when used the right way. It gave me new ideas and renewed my excitement for using digital tools in the classroom. I now feel more confident in using technology to support my students’ learning, making lessons more interactive, fun, and effective.
DAY 3
Creating an action plan for real flipped classes was an important step in helping me grow as a teacher. Before this, I had learned about flipped learning, but actually planning and using it in my lessons helped me understand it better. It showed me how technology can be used to make learning more effective for my students. During this process, I also improved my computer skills. I learned how to create a website to share useful materials, especially for students learning English. I believe the content I post there can help students learn more, even outside the classroom. I also learned how to edit YouTube videos and add questions to them. This makes the videos clearer and helps students stay focused while learning. Overall, this experience helped me become more confident in using technology and more focused on what my students need.
