TRANSNATIONAL MEETING #4

Napels - Italy

Spring 2025

Among the planned activities for this transnational meeting are:

- Workshop on the possibilities and use of Epale.

- Workshops in which EUSA will share knowledge and experiences about its work with disadvantaged groups: how to reach

these groups, organise low-threshold activities, communication with disadvantaged groups....

- Brainstorming to organise our language practice opportunities in a heritage context in a low-threshold way and increase

the participation of disadvantaged groups.

- Development and testing (with learners and possible local heritage partners) of 6 low-threshold language activities in a

heritage context and subsequent opportunity to be discussed, assessed by all participants, putting emphasis on feedback.

- Organisation of a final informal activity for all participants.

The expected outcomes of this activity are:

- The creation of 6 language practice opportunities in a heritage context (focus: low-threshold). Indeed, these activities form

the basis of our main output: the HeriTalk toolkit.

- A better expertise of the teachers involved regarding the creation of low-threshold language practice opportunities and

more know-how about working with disadvantaged groups.

- Increased linguistic competences of EUSA's participating course group (=test audience).

- Increased awareness about heritage among both teachers and learners.

- Increased knowledge and use of Epale.

- Optimised project implementation thanks to the systematic meetings of the coordination group.
