Activities at this transnational meeting:

- Outlining the theoretical framework of Visual Thinking Strategies

- Exchanging experiences (strengths and pitfalls) of implementing VTS

- Attending a language class in which VTS is applied (inside class walls and outside class walls)

- Brainstorming on the possible integration of VTS in creating our language practice opportunities in a heritage context

- Developing and testing (with learners and possible local heritage partners) 6 language activities in a heritage context

integrating VTS and following the opportunity to be discussed, assessed by all participants, putting emphasis on feedback.


The expected outcomes of this activity are:

- The creation of at least 6 language practice opportunities in a heritage context (focus: integration VTS). Indeed, these

activities form the basis of our main output: the HeriTalk toolkit.

- Improved expertise of the teachers involved regarding the integration of VTS in a language practice opportunity in a

heritage context.

- Increased linguistic competences of the participating learner group (=test audience) of EOI Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

- Increased heritage awareness among both teachers and learners.

- A growing understanding of the benefits of cooperation on a European level (among all participants).

Optimised project implementation thanks to the systematic meetings of the coordination group.
