Activities for this transnational meeting:
- Workshops on the possibilities of using digital tools in a language lesson in a heritage setting.
- Attending a language lesson in which some digital tools are applied (within classroom walls)
- Developing and testing (with learners and possible local heritage partners) 6 language activities in a heritage context
integrating digital tools and following the opportunity to be discussed, assessed by all participants, putting emphasis on
feedback.
- Introduction to local heritage: visit to Bokrijk open-air museum. During the Bokrijk rally, heritage experience is linked to
knowledge about Flemish daily life in the early 20th century.
The expected outcomes of this activity are:
- The creation of 6 language practice opportunities in a heritage context (focus: digital tools). Indeed, these activities form
the basis of our main output: the HeriTalk toolkit.
- Improved expertise of the teachers involved regarding the integration of digital tools in a language practice opportunity in a
heritage context.
- Increased linguistic competences of the participating learner group of PCVO MT (=test audience).
- Increased awareness of heritage among all participants, also thanks to the trip to open-air museum Bokrijk.
- A growing understanding of the benefits of cooperation on a European level (among all participants)
- Optimised project implementation thanks to the systematic meetings of the coordination group.
