This scholarship will be awarded based on academic merit, embodiment of good sportsmanship, strong moral character, enthusiastic and passionate leadership, and diverse background.
Criteria:
The applicant must be a graduating high school senior from a Loudoun County Public School or private school in Loudoun County.
The applicant must have plans to pursue a bachelor's degree at an accredited US Post-Secondary institution.
Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0

Letter of reference from a current or past coach speaking to your sportsmanship and leadership qualities. The letter should speak to the applicant's embodiment of good sportsmanship and leadership.
A letter of reference speaking to your strong moral character (integrity, courage, fortitude, honesty, and loyalty) is required.
A personal essay (750 words or less, 12-point font, double spaced) is required. You choose the title. The theme should be autobiographical in nature, describing the athletic experiences that have shaped your life, allowed you to grow, and how you hope these experiences will impact your future. Please include your aspirations for the future, how you plan to give back to your community, and why you should be considered for this award.

REQUIREMENTS:
An essay of 700-1500 words about who you are and how you plan on using your automotive education to incite positive change and innovation within the custom care industry is required. .
Proof of enrollment in an accredited US college or university, automotive engineering program, trade school or technical institure is required.

A 500-word essay must be attached (.doc, docx, or .pdf format) that describes how you became interested in a Culinary Arts or Hospitality career and what you hope to bring to the industry.
