In 4th grade students now have the opportunity to sign up for instrument lessons in Band or Orchestra instruments with Mrs. Obringer, and audition for Elementary Select Choir. In general music, we continue to develop our musicality, branching into new instruments like ukulele and new digital music creation opportunities with Chrome Music Lab and Bandlab for Education. We transition from rhythm syllables to a standard counting system for performing rhythms, and begin to understand intervals, new meters, phrasing and pick-up beats.
