In 2nd grade we largely build on the foundational skills we learned in 1st grade by expanding our pitch and rhythm knowledge. We explore more notation elements such as dynamic markings, repeats, and first & second endings. We also start working on multi-part songs with basslines and percussion accompaniment, and dive into singing canons in parts.
