AP courses are taken at MSA and are taught by MSA teachers. AP students use their time in the classroom to prepare for the AP exam: a standardized test created and overseen by the College Board that demonstrates a student’s mastery of college-level subjects. In order to earn college credit, a student must do well on the AP exam. The AP exam is what determines college credit.
PSEO courses are taught by college professors on a college campus. PSEO students are taking actual college courses and are automatically awarded college credit through successful completion of the course.
Both AP courses and PSEO courses are indicated on a student's transcript as such and are included in the student's GPA. MSA does not weight AP courses or PSEO classes.
