Eiffel Tower

By Dash, Ryan & Coby

For the Eiffel Tower, we did fountains at the front with lamp posts that go with two big paths either side. We built the full Eiffel Tower with a café on the second floor. At the top we made it so there was a really good view of the entrance at the front. On your way up the ladder to get to the top, there are clues and facts about the Eiffel Tower because there is a quick quiz at the back of the tower.

Sydney Harbour Bridge

By Angus

I chose to do the Sydney Harbour Bridge because it is close to me and I have been to it quite a lot and I know a couple of things about it. When I started it was a bit hard but it got easier as I went on. The arches were defiantly the hardest part because of all the curves.

Big Ben

By Will & Levi

This was a difficult task to accomplish, but after some hard work we finally finished. We used a bunch of different strategies to do this. We hope you enjoy.

Pyramids of Giza

By Brock

It was a fun build, the hardest part was the structure of the Pyramid and coming up with ideas for the maze. I decided to use two different blocks for the Pyramid as it would bring more detail in my mind. I decided to build the Pyramids because I knew that it would bring an artistic design.

The Big Banana

By Rosena & Regan

The Big Banana is a Australian landmark located in Coffs Harbour. It is an amazing park that includes go-karts, water slides and many more awesome and exiting games and rides. The main building technique we used was the base and then building off it in layers.

Neuschwanstein Castle

By Maeve, Ellie & Olivia

Our landmark, called Neuschwanstein Castle, is found in Germany. It was built in 1869. It was made for King Ludwig the ll. But he actually only spent 11 nights there! The actual Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty's Castle is inspired by this castle.

Tower Bridge

By Samuel

The Tower Bridge is in London. It is 65 metres high. I built it with smooth sandstone, smooth quartz, wooden fences, and cobblestone. I started off with the two towers and then made my way to the centre of the bridge. I really enjoyed building Tower Bridge.

Chaturbhuj Temple

By Parker & Xavier

We built the Chaturbhuj temple in Orchha, India. The temple was supposed to be where the Idol of Lord Rama was to be placed and Chaturbhuj means "four arms". We have built the temple out of sandstone as we thought it was the most accurate block. We were inspired to build it because of the detail and sheer size of the temple. We have used red stone mechanics to make the glow stone appear when you step on the pressure plates. Although it took sometime to build, we had fun and it turned out great.

Marina Bay Sands Hotel

By Yanisse, Alex & Kai

The Marina Bay Sands is a hotel in Singapore. The hotel is divided into three different towers and also has a Skypark on the top. To recreate the hotel we had to try different types of blocks for example we tried stairs and half blocks for different effects and parts of the build. We were inspired by how amazing it looks and how challenging it looked so we wanted to try it.

The Obelisk of Hatshepsut

By Lily

I’m building Hatshepsut’s Obelisk, the Great Pyramids of Giza, and the sphinx of Giza. I didn’t use any cheats. I used a lot of realistic architecture to show off my Minecraft skills. I honestly don’t know what inspired me to do these three amazing landmarks. I think it’s because I love learning about ancient Egypt. I even ask my brother for his high school history work on Ancient Egypt. I think this is one of the best building projects I’ve done in Minecraft education. I’ve learnt a lot about the landmarks I’ve chosen. It’s taught me a lot in geography.
