Becoming Map Masters, students will go beyond simply memorizing states, countries, and capitals by learning through interactive, hands-on activities designed to make geography stick. Through map drawing, writing practice, memory challenges, games, team competitions, and creative activities, students will strengthen their ability to recognize and remember the world around them.
Each week, students will actively build their knowledge by learning to identify U.S. states, world countries, capitals, landmarks, and global connections while practicing the important skill of writing and drawing maps by hand — helping improve memory retention and deeper understanding.
This class transforms geography into an exciting challenge where students learn not just where places are, but how to think about the world as confident young explorers.
