Social Philosophy & Policy

Wealth of Nations at 250

@ Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan

The goal of this event is to bring all the authors of this upcoming volume of Social Philosophy and Policy together in a setting designed to facilitate critical discussion of each contribution.

We are grateful for the generous support from Waseda University and the continuing support from The University of Arizona Center for the Philosophy of Freedom to make this gathering possible.

Authors are encouraged to engage in active listening during the session dedicated to their manuscript. There are no presentations or rebuttals by authors. Authors are present in each session to comment on other papers and to listen to comments in the session featuring their paper. Sessions are recorded by the journal scribes.  Scribe notes, editorial notes, and transcriptions are sent directly to each author to assist them in their final rewrite.

Participants are expected to attend all conference events.

In general, participants can expect the following schedule:

Your hotel room and workshop meals and breaks are at no cost to the participants. Participants are expected to travel at their own expense. (Please see the stipend page item for more on how the stipend works.)
