May I bring family members or a pet?

You have your own room so you may choose to have a family member join you. 

The resort requires that you pay a pet fee and have certain rooms in order to bring along your companion animal.  

May my guest or family members join the workshop for meals and catered breaks?

Unfortunately, our meals are working sessions. The sessions are intense and often the discussion spill over to the associated meals. 

SP&P cannot support guests other than the editorial staff and workshop participants. 

For example, lunches and dinners are part of the programming and not open to individuals outside of the workshop sessions. 

The Thursday reception and dinner are for workshop participants only.

What kind of attendance is expected of participants?

We expect participants to get the most out of each experience. That means we expect everyone to be on time, present, and ready to contribute to the discussion. 

There will not be presentations. The papers will be read in advance by all participatns

100% of sessions will be devoted to critical discussion. 

May I come early and stay late beyond the workshop dates? 

You may book other nights at your own expense and depending on availability. As of this posting, the hotel does have some rooms available for the entirety of the week of the workshop at the conference rate but cannot guarantee rooms that are not reserved in advance. 

Trans-oceanic travelers are asked to arrive beginning on Wednesday, one day earlier than the start of the workshop on Thursday evening. 

Are incidental and travel expenses included? 

We offer a stipend. In this case the stipend will be updated to cover accommodations. We do not cover travel expenses or incidentals.

I want to change the workshop information that I submitted on my registration. How do I do that?
