A switch interface helps a student access computer websites by using a switch to emulate the functions of a keyboard or mouse (ie. "left click" , "right click" "enter" and "space bar"). An interface is connected to the computer. Several switches may be plugged into the interface in order to customize the key functions for a specific user. This allows a student to engage in learning activities such as cause/ effect websites, run a PowerPoint presentation, play and pause a music player and turn pages in an eBook.
