Ms. Rajeshwari is currently working as a Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechatronics. She holds an M.Tech in Thermal Power Engineering and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.

She has 13 years of teaching experience. Her research interests include Biofuels, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Turbomachines, Internal Combustion Engines and Robotics & Automation . She has published 6 research papers, guided three KSCST-funded projects and holds one published Indian patent in the field of precision agriculture.

Mrs. Pavitra Kumari  is working as  Assistant Professor  in Mechatronics Engineering Department.. She received M.Tech  and B.E degree in Power Electronics and Electrical and Electronics Engineering respectively from VTU Belgaum.

She has a teaching experience of 7 years. She started her career in Dr.M.V Shetty Institute of Technology, Moodabidri as Lecturer and worked as Assistant Professor in Srinivas Institute of Technology,Valachil and worked as Assistant Lecturer in N.I.T.K Surathkal.

She  has published 02 National / International  journals and Conferences.

Mrs. Pavitra Kumari  is working as  Assistant Professor  in Mechatronics Engineering Department.. She received M.Tech  and B.E degree in Power Electronics and Electrical and Electronics Engineering respectively from VTU Belgaum.

Mr. Santhosh S is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering. He has pursued his M.Tech. in Digital Electronics and Communication from NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte and B.E. in Electronics and Communication from KVGCE Sullia.

He has a total 13.5 years teaching experience, in AIET Moodbidri from 26-07-2010 to 10-11-2022 and at KIT Manglore from 1/9/2009 to 12/6/2010. He has published 7 National/International Journals & Conferences. His research interests include embedded systems and Robotics, Communication System and Analog and Digital Electronics design. 

Dr. Suraj Bhat is working as an Assistant Professor in the Mechatronics Engineering Department. He obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, M.Tech in Computer Aided Mechanical Design and Analysis, and B.E in Mechatronics from Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal. Previously he had worked for LG Electronics and I-Hub Foundation for Cobotics, New Delhi. He has 7 conference publications and 1 journal publication.

Areas of Interests: Product Design, Design Thinking, Multibody Dynamics, Robotics

Vinod Kumar M. V. is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering. He is pursuing his PhD in Recycling Technology from Nitte Deemed to be University, Karnataka. He holds an M.Tech in Mechatronics Engineering and a B.E in Mechanical Engineering both from Visvesvaraya Technological University.

He has over 15 years of teaching experience, including 3 years of International academic exposure at Hawassa University, Ethiopia, East Africa. Additionally, he has successfully executed a Government of India - DST funded project and has served as coordinator for AICTE-ATAL FDPs.

His contributions to the field include 2 international journal publications, 3 international conference papers, and 4 national conference papers. He has delivered several technical talks and received awards such as the Faculty Performance Award (CEC, 2023 & 2024) and Mentorship Excellence Award (CHSA, 2024).

Experience: 15 Years (Teaching), including 3 Years (Abroad)

Areas of Interest: Hydraulics & Pneumatics,   Plastic Recycling, Additive Manufacturing, Robotics and Automation

Smart Materials

Sivaprakash P. is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering. He has completed Ph.D in fatigue and fracture of aluminium matrix composites from VTU, Belagavi, Karnataka. He holds an M. Phil degree from Sheffield Hallam University (UK), M.E in CAD from Vellore Engineering College (Vellore), B.E in Mechanical Engineering and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

He has over 24 years of teaching, research and industry experience, including 6 years of international academic/industry experience at Sheffield Hallam University (UK). Additionally, he was an ISO management representative for more than 10 years and has served as coordinator for NBA and NAAC at department and institutional levels. His contributions the teaching and learning include 11 international journal publications, 2 international conference papers, and has conducted/participated  7 FDP’s/Workshops. 

Experience:  20 Years in teaching, 2 years in research and 2+ years in Industry.
