All clubs at MIT Academy are considered subsidiaries of the Associated Student Body (ASB).
Clubs and other student body organizations are all about fundraising, participating, doing, learning, experiencing, and making decisions*.
All clubs may subject to review at any time during the school year if they aren't contributing to our school's culture or if they have had no active member participation for 18 consecutive month.

Clubs can be started by anybody at any point during the school year except in the last two months of the school year.
The steps to start a club are as follows:
Determine a teacher advisor to oversee the club's activities, collect a minimum of 4 students actively participating in the club, and create a club constitution*. Read more about the club constitution here.
Fill out the ASB Application for Student Body Club form.
Submit the ASB Application for Student Body, club constitution, and proposed budget to the ASB Advisor.
Please note that if a club has been inactive for a significant period of time or is failing to contribute to the school's culture, it's subject to review and dissolution as deemed fit by ASB.
