In 1959, on the outskirts of Kennett, Mo., John Fuller started a farm. Three generations later, his grandson, 60-year-old Terry Fuller, and his two sons, 34-year-old Ben Fuller and 30-year-old Cody Fuller, keep the farming all in the family.
Terry works with 5,500 acres, which include crops such as peanuts, cotton and soybeans. When Terry was younger, he tossed watermelons with his father, Glenn Fuller, for hours at a time. And, Terry would teach his sons the art of farming at a young age as well.
Now, as the weather of a Category 4 hurricane threatens to ruin some of the Fuller’s crops, the father and son team work overtime to finish as much cropping as possible cropping before the storm arrives.
