Q: We had a MobyMax subscription through the OSP last year, can we renew our existing subscription?
A: Yes, subscriptions distributed last year through the Online Subscription Package will renew and your progress will continue. Unfortunately, if you're transferring from another school, your previous progress cannot be transferred.
Q: Who will have management access to the student's account in MobyMax?
A: We have great news; our team worked to find a way to add parents as additional teachers on MobyMax (HSTs will also have teacher access).
When the MobyMax accounts are created, parents can expect to start receiving an email notification from MobyMax indicating they’ve been registered as a teacher with their teacher login instructions.
The email notification will have the following subject line…
“Mission VIsta Academy OSP has registered you for MobyMax.”
IMPORTANT NOTE: Parents will only be able to access their own students on MobyMax and will not be able to see other students. However, teacher names are accessible. In order to maintain the privacy of our parent’s names, the teacher accounts for parents are set up with the first name listed as Parent and last name listed as their student’s District ID number. For example, Parent 12345. It is important that parents do not change the name associated with their parent account.
Q: I am having trouble logging in; can you please help?
A: For students - Sign-in "AS A STUDENT" and search for the school name (or enter the school code) then enter the student's username and password:
Student username format is: first/last initial and 5-digit student district ID number (example: AD12345)
Password: Mobymax2022!
For Parents - Sign-in "AS A TEACHER" then enter your email address and password. If you don't remember your password you can request to reset your password. You can locate your students' login information under the ROSTER section in the Moby Learning module.

A: MobyMax does not explicitly administer learning materials based on your students grade; the diagnostic tests are designed to close learning gaps. MobyMax’s diagnostic tests quickly assess student proficiency on each standard in the common core, letting you know exactly where gaps in student knowledge exist.
Q: Can I add students to my roster myself under my MobyMax teacher account?
A: No, you will not be able to add students to your roster manually. New students will be added to your account within 5 business days of a signed Master Agreement.

A: Yes, MobyMax is aligned to state standards. However, please note the following exceptions for Social Studies (which is aligned to NGSS - national standards) ...
6th grade students will need to be assigned the 7th grade Social Studies lessons/content in MobyMax
7th grade students will need to be assigned the 8th grade Social Students lessons/content in MobyMax
Unfortunately, there is no Social Studies content in MobyMax that fully aligns for 4th and 8th grade students. Therefore, for 4th & 8th- grade students using MobyMax as their primary/sole curriculum for Social Studies, we recommend using Studies Weekly.
Q: Where can I quickly view passed and failed lessons in MobyMax?
A: In the upper right-hand corner for the MobyMax dashboard, click on the notification bell to view the recently passed/failed lessons.
Q: If my student didn't pass a lesson, will the lesson automatically be reassigned?
