Working With  ALL Stakeholders

At Midkiff, we counselors work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including parents, to ensure all counseling guidance content areas are addressed for every student. We use a multifaceted approach that includes classroom guidance lessons, small group counseling, and individual student planning. We also provide resources and information to parents through school newsletters, our counseling website, and parent workshops on topics such as academic planning, social-emotional development, and college and career readiness. This proactive communication ensures parents are active partners in their child's educational journey.

We also regularly meet with teachers and administrators to discuss student needs and to align our counseling goals with the school's overall mission. By partnering with our stakeholders, we can provide a comprehensive counseling program that addresses the academic, career, and social-emotional development of all students. This collaborative effort helps us identify and support students who may need additional resources, creating a supportive network that ensures every student has the opportunity to succeed.
