Every month the Minico FFA Officer Team and specialized student lead committees host a meeting for everyone in the Minico FFA Chapter to meet. These activities change every month and we encourage you to invite an bring guess to come as well!

Travel Trips
The following things are required into order to go to any FFA trip that involves traveling.
$25 FFA Membership Dues paid to the front office (one time annual fee)
Individual trip fee is paid to the front office to pay for bussing and housing (prices differs for each trip)
Permission slip with parent signature turned in prior to departure
If the trip is during school: The permission slip needs to be signed by your teachers with 70% or better in all classes. You are responsible for all school work you miss.
For CDE & LDE trips: You must join the team and regularly attend practices in order to go.
Travel Trips Include:
Eastern Idaho State Fair (1 day in September) - Invitational CDEs including Potato Evaluation, Livestock Evaluation, and Horse Evaluation.
Regional Soils & Land Evaluation CDE (1 day in September) - View Handbook
State Rangeland CDE (1 day in October) - View Handbook
State Soil & Land Evaluation CDE (1 day in October) - Only 1 team of four members. View Handbook
NILE: Northern International Livestock Exposition (4 days in October) - Invitational livestock judging contest.
National FFA Convention ( 1 week in October) - Trip for those who qualify by winning a State CDE or LDE or win a National SAE based award. Remaining spots are fulled based on seniority and overall FFA involvement.
Gem State Leadership (2 days in January) - Leadership based workshops in Boise for 9th - 12th graders. View Website.
North Utah Invitational (1 day February) - Invitational for numerous CDEs & LDEs. View Website.
Senior Completer Trip (5 days in March) - Trip for seniors who have complete an ag pathway and passed their capstone test in either Animal Science, Plant & Soil Science or Welding.
District LDEs (1 day in March) - Compete in an LDE. Winner of each qualifies for state.
District Floriculture (1 day in March) - View Handbook
Idaho State Leadership Conference (4 days in April) - Conference for State LDEs, Horse CDE, & Floriculture CDE. We also recognize students receiving SAE Star & Proficiency awards , scholarships, and State FFA Degree. Includes workshops, ag tours, sessions for any member to attend.
Moscow CDEs (4 days in June) - State CDE competitions. Compete in teams of 4. Some contests allow invitational teams.
