Idaho FFA CDEs & LDEs Competitions
Competitions in the National FFA Organization are known as Career Development Events (CDEs) and Leadership Development Events (LDEs). CDEs are designed to help students develop technical knowledge and skills for specific agricultural careers. LDEs focus on developing students' public speaking, decision-making, and leadership skills.Â
District competitions are held for all LDEs, as only the district winner advances to the state level for each event. Some CDEs are held at the District level. All CDEs are held at the state level, with no district qualifying prerequisite. The 1st place winner for each LDE & CDE then advanced to represent Idaho at the national level in Indianapolis.Â
