Essential Question: How might I begin to embody the Mineola mission statement?

The goal for year one is to demonstrate self-efficacy by building on feedback. Educators will focus on growth mindset development, creating a culture of learning, and functioning within Mineola's mission. In year one, educators will set goals based on New Educator Workshop sessions. The year culminates with educators reflecting on their first year in Mineola by answering the following questions in a 2-3 minute

video reflection.


The video displays student growth academically, socially, and emotionally based on educator's reaching their goal(s). Educators should end the year with a full understanding of Mineola's "why," vision and tenure portfolio requirements.

Ms. Amendoeira fosters a growth mindset with her Pre-K class by teaching brain science and instilling it as part of her classroom culture.
